With a well-established network of three physical stores and a focus on customer satisfaction, UAB Balticmaxauto aims to make its products more accessible by expanding into e-commerce. The company aims to deliver top-notch service and a seamless shopping experience to a broader audience.

 


 

The Challenge

Before the project, UAB Balticmaxauto operated exclusively through physical stores. While these locations offered excellent customer service, they lacked an online presence, which limited their ability to reach a wider audience. Customers needed to visit stores physically to explore products, inquire about availability, or receive professional consultations. This lack of an online platform created challenges, including:

  1. Limited accessibility for customers who preferred online shopping.
  2. Inability to showcase detailed product information, such as technical specifications or EU markings, in an easily searchable format.
  3. Difficulty for customers to check product availability or delivery times without visiting the store or calling.
  4. The lack of online payment and delivery options made purchasing less convenient.

Caesar7 developed an individual e-commerce project for Ratai4 to address these challenges using the proprietary CZAR7® e-commerce system. The project focused on creating a personalised, high-performance solution tailored to UAB Balticmaxautos business needs. Key steps and solutions included:

  4. Tyre and rim search by vehicle: Users can search for tyres and rims specifically based on their vehicle details, enhancing usability.

Each product listing provides detailed technical specifications, EU markings in compliance with Regulation No. 2020/740, and real-time information on stock availability and delivery times.
  6. Specification charts: Detailed specification charts are available for products, allowing customers to compare and make informed decisions.
  7. Seamless payment and delivery integration: Multiple payment methods and delivery options have been incorporated to enhance customers' convenience and flexibility.
  8. Multiple warehouses and providers: The system is designed to handle multiple warehouses and providers, with all information synchronised and normalised automatically periodically.
  9. Enhanced user engagement: Features like a contact form, feedback section, and store locator map encourage customer interaction and improve service accessibility.

Additional Insights

One of the project's most challenging aspects was normalising data from multiple providers into a unified format. Creating a consistent and synchronised database required significant effort, as a vast number of products and attributes came from various sources. Building a robust filtering system was also complex due to the sheer volume of products and the wide range of attributes. Still, it was critical for delivering a seamless user experience.
