About Bonocosì

Bonocosì® is a brand born out of a deep passion for food and a love for Italian traditions. Founded by Gianluca Armone, a native of Calabria, Italy, Bonocosì aims to bring the authentic taste of Italy to the world. The brand is particularly known for its unique Pizza al Metro, which follows a 90-year-old recipe and uses carefully selected ingredients sourced directly from Italy. The brand’s commitment to quality extends to its in-house artisan laboratory, which produces the pizza dough and a range of other ingredients used in Bonocosì’s pizzerias.

 


 

The Challenge: Transitioning from Physical Restaurants to Online Sales

Before partnering with Caesar7, Bonocosì operated solely through its physical pizzerias. While their brick-and-mortar restaurants had gained popularity, the company had not yet explored the potential of online presence. This limited their customer reach and made it difficult for them to expand their brand’s influence beyond their immediate geographical location. Additionally, without an online presence, Bonocosì could not fully capitalize on their unique offerings, such as their artisan products and exclusive Pizza al Metro, which had the potential to attract a broader audience.

 


 

Our Solution

Caesar7 stepped in to help Bonocosì transition from a purely physical presence to an integrated online and offline business model. Here’s how we did it:

  1. Custom E-commerce Design: We designed a unique e-commerce platform tailored to Bonocosì’s brand identity. This included creating a website visually aligned with their Italian heritage that was easy to navigate. The design was also responsive, ensuring a seamless experience on all devices, whether a customer is browsing from a phone, tablet, or desktop.
  2. Pizza Builder Feature: We introduced a Pizza Builder tool on the website to enhance customer engagement. This feature allows customers to create custom pizzas from various toppings and ingredients. The interactive tool makes the ordering process fun and highlights the wide range of high-quality ingredients Bonocosì offers.
  3. Dual Booking System: Understanding the unique needs of Bonocosì, we implemented a dual booking system within the same platform. This system allows for two independent booking databases that can be managed from one central system:
    • Standard Table Reservations: Customers can easily reserve a table at any Bonocosì location.
    • Custom “Chef’s Selected Menu” Booking: The second booking system is dedicated to customers who want a more personalized dining experience. Here, customers can book a table and create their custom “Chef’s Selected Menu” from a curated selection of dishes, offering a unique and exclusive dining experience.
  4. Multilingual Support: To help Bonocosì reach a wider audience, we implemented multilingual support on their website. This allowed them to cater to customers who speak different languages, reflecting the brand’s international aspirations.
  5. Restaurant Features Integration: We added several restaurant-specific features to the website:
    • Menu Display: Customers can view the restaurant’s menu online, including daily specials.
    • Invoice Generation: The website includes a feature for customers to request invoices, making it easier for them to manage their transactions.
    • Promotions and Offers: A dedicated section for Bonocosì to highlight special promotions and offers, keeping customers engaged and informed.
  6. Online Store: We built an online store where customers can purchase Bonocosì’s products directly. These include their signature products and other Italian delicacies. The store is integrated with secure payment systems and delivery options to ensure a smooth purchasing process.
  7. Standardized and Non-standard Integrations: Our team handled various integrations with external business management and accounting systems, ensuring that Bonocosì’s online and offline operations ran smoothly. This includes payment gateways, delivery services, and inventory management systems.
  8. Consulting Services: Beyond setting up the e-commerce platform, Caesar7 provided ongoing consulting services to Bonocosì. This helped them adapt to the new digital landscape and optimize their online sales strategy.
